WIC LAUNCHES BOYS AND GIRLS CLUB IN ALAIGBO

At the Launching in Owerri

The World Igbo Congress has launched a grassroots campaign as part of its overall strategic program TO RESTORE THE DIGNITY OF THE IGBO. The campaign called BOYS AND GIRLS CLUB has already been launched in Aguleri, Anambra State and Owerri, Imo State, targets the young ones in high schools throughout Igbo land and is intended to redirect them in the interest of the future of Igbo land. WIC is working with States Ministries of Education for this purpose. WIC is currently seeking support from the United Nations through the United Nations Democracy Fund (UNDEF) and Fund for Documentation of Good Practice in Girls’ Education and Gender Equality (UNGEI) and UN Trust Fund to End Violence against Women (UNTFEVAW). World Igbo Congress calls on all Igbo to join hands to see how you can be part of it.
