ABOUT THE CONVENTION
We have come to a point in the life of the Igbo where we can no longer let individual differences stand in our way to saving the Igbo, Igbo heritage and Igbo land, our only real home. Our problems are myriad. We have gone through massacres of genocide proportions to being schemed out completely from governance and the economy in the country we sacrificed most to keep sovereign. We have been pushed to the wall and must now stand our ground in our own interest, and that of our children and children’s children. This convention was about protecting our homestead. It was about stopping the conversion of our home into “conquered territory”. It was about preserving our heritage. It was about providing world class healthcare for our people. It was about getting “Igbo leaders” to work for the Igbo. It was about consolidating our stay in the USA, our chosen abode. We must work together to achieve this. The convention gave us that opportunity. This was a convention like no other. See the convention repost and the communique below
