GLOBAL WOMEN’S SUMMIT: POST-UNITED NATIONS COMMISSION ON STATUS OF WOMEN58 (CSW58) OUTCOME DEVELOPMENT FRAMEWORK

TO ALL IGBO WORLDWIDE AND THEIR WELL-WISHERS

Greetings! As you may know, Women and Family Affairs Committee (WFAC), World Igbo

Congress (WIC) an NGO in Special Consultative Status with Economic and Social Council at the

United Nations will hold Global Women Post CSW58 Summit on June 20-23, 2014. WFAC is WIC committee responsible for women, children and family and partakes actively on women and girls global issues at the United Nations and International Organizations.

Post CSW58 Summit annual conference is held to discuss and educate on the outcome document from United Nations Commission on Status of Women two weeks conference held from March 10- March 21, 2014. The summit will gather men, women, boys and girls, NGOs and Civil societies, government agencies and parastatals, diplomatic missions, women and gender ministries and global community.

The event also includes outreach to men and boys in the community as well as award recognition of world widows in observance to the United Nations International Day of Widows. This year the summit will hold at Berlin Germany on the theme: “Creating Women and Girls Possible Future from MDGs to Post 2015 Sustainable Development Agenda”. The Summit is expected to draw more 1000 attendees across the world.
