ALL HANDS MUST BE ON DECK FOR A MEANINGFUL REPRESENTATION AT THE CONFAB

World Igbo Congress has appointed a formidable 3-member monitoring Committee for the on-going Nigerian Conference. The objective is to keep the Diaspora Igbo informed on day to day developments and analysis of such developments. This followed a decision by the WIC Board of Directors and HOD officers at a meeting on March 29, 2014. The team which has been accredited is working in tandem with Ohanaeze Ndi Igbo as the agenda of Ndi Igbo is pursued. Below is the letter of accreditation from the Chairman of WIC to the President-General of Ohanaeze, Chief Gary Enwo Igariwey. Please note the email addresses of the members of the team. In addition if you have any specific issues, ideas, questions or concerns, kindly fill out the form below and it will be attended to promptly. WIC is determined that all Diaspora Igbo are informed and that they are carried along at all times.

Re: WIC Three-man National Conference Monitoring Committee:

I am following up on my telephone discussions with you earlier today, on the above subject. A vast majority of Diaspora Igbo seek avenues to contribute to the ongoing National conference. Consequently, World Igbo congress Board of Directors in a meeting held on March 29, 2014 set up a three-man committee to monitor the conference proceedings, developments, and resolutions. The committee is also charged with making constant contacts with Ohaneze leadership to evaluate areas of assistance needed from Diaspora Igbo towards a stronger presentation of Igbo position on issues of Igbo interest. This committee will also coordinate inputs from Igbo Diaspora on issues they consider paramount for stability in Nigeria. Please feel free to contact this committee for any assistance on any issue you deem necessary. The committee will be a great asset to the Igbo delegation at the conference, and a dependable access to Diaspora Igbo resource that more than likely strengthens the output of the South East delegates on ground.
