World Igbo Congress

Dear Invited Participant We invite you to participate in the 20th Annual Convention of the World Igbo Congress, scheduled to hold Aug 29 – Sep 1, 2014 at the Hilton Houston Southwest, 6780 Southwest Freeway Houston, TX 77074. The theme for the convention is Obi di n’otu, Igbo akwuru (With unity of Purpose, the Igbo will Survive and Progress). At the convention the following events will take place:

We will rededicate ourselves to the cause of the Igbo through

1. the status report and achievements of WIC since 1994,
2. the proposed Regional Health Center of Excellence,
3. the Igbo survival strategy,
4. Igbo celebrities
5. Igbo new generation
6. connecting the Igbo to the world,
7. launching of the Igbo “feed yourself Program”
8. launching of the “know yourself project”,
9. cultural entertainment, dance, delicious food, as well as
10. an award presentation recognizing our many supporters, partners and friends.
11. The event will also feature a silent auction and a raffle draw.
